Synopsis

After discovering a former programmer, Harold Messer, has been infiltrating several military computer systems, Jack Stewart, head of the CIA, decides that this would be the assignment to bring Elizabeth King back into the field after the tragic loss of her fiancé. But first, Elizabeth must face her past and overcome insurmountable odds to accept her struggle with mortality. Vivid nightmares and the spirit of her love soon become the driving force behind her fervor for revenge in a dramatic return to Germany.

Accompanied with a provocative partner, Elizabeth sets aside their quarrels to focus on the assignment at hand: befriending Harold Messer under the guise of sympathizers to infiltrate the small organization. However, the mission crumbles as they uncover a deeper international plot.

Harold Messer and his staff are found murdered by Chinese mercenaries. Fearing the operation may have been leaked, Elizabeth and Steve abandon their identities to seek refuge at an undisclosed safe house. The awkward partnership begins to mend with Elizabeth’s psychological scar in the solitude.

Upon Elizabeth’s return from the turbulent political war zone casting shadows on international alliances, she finds herself in the midst of danger.
