A U.S. Marines unit slaughtered, confidential cargo stolen, and a sudden unorthodox declaration to suppress all information of the incident from everyone but the highest ranking officials in the government draws fire from General Kiser. Rumors spread quickly, and knowing of the liabilities accompanying an extensive investigation General Kiser enlists Jack Stewart – director of the CIA.
Evidence surfaces to suggest that an active Marines unit contributed to the theft. Jack Stewart, as a result, assigns Jessica Parker and Tom Hawkins to pose as embedded reporters. What they discover proves to be far more complicated. And now the entire unit must escape alive from those who planned the attack. If not the serve justice, to at least expose the corruption.
Currently, there are plans to re-release In the Presence of Power in November of 2007. Expect to be updated within the next two months in regards to possible changes in the text. A very delightful turn of events, I must admit. There were no plans in the past to touch the text, but after careful consideration I have decided to revisit my own first work.
